PTFE sheets are supplied in a standard 1 m width and cut to the required width. The Mateos overview lists silicone-coated fabrics at a width of 1 000 mm and thicknesses of 0.18–0.76 mm. For resistance heating, the resistance of the specific cross-section is decisive: for example, 0.2 mm Kanthal is specified at 43 Ω/m.
