Fabric with a silicone coating

In this range, silicone sheet means laminated silicone-coated fabric. Do not confuse it with homogeneous silicone rubber for seals. The supporting fabric and number of coated sides belong in the specification alongside thickness. Mateos lists use for belts and curtains in heating tunnels.

Dimensions and colours

The supplier overview lists a width of 1 000 mm, thicknesses of 0.18–0.76 mm, red or white versions and one-sided or double-sided coating. The material is sold from the roll by the metre. One specific example is red sheet 240 at 0.18 mm thickness. Not every thickness is necessarily available in every colour and coating combination.

Selection for a curtain or covering element

Add dimensions, suspension or tracking method, quantity and temperature at the point of use to your enquiry. For moving applications, also specify bending and product contact. The reviewed data for sheet 240 provides neither a numerical temperature limit nor chemical compatibility; confirmation must apply to the particular fabric. Do not transfer the value from silicone rubber to this sheet.
